Zalgiris add Lee to their roster, ex Anadolu Efes

Saben Lee

Defending champion B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas (LKL) added to their roster 27-year old American guard Saben Lee (188cm-83kg-1999, college: Vanderbilt) for new 2026-27 season. He played last season at Anadolu Efes in Turkish BSL league. In 10 games he recorded 11.6ppg, 2.4rpg and 4.4apg. He helped them to make it to the Turkish Cup Semifinals. Lee also played 16 games in Euroleague where he averaged 11.3ppg, 1.7rpg and 3.1apg. He contributed to his team winning the regular season. The other team he played shortly was Olympiacos S.F.P. Piraeus (GBL) in Greek league.
In 2020 he was drafted by New York Knicks (NBA) in second round (38th overall). The former Vanderbilt University standout is in his seventh season in pro basketball.
Lee is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Greece, Israel (Maccabi Tel Aviv), NBA (Detroit Pistons, Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers), NBA G League (Delaware Blue Coats, Raptors 905 Mississauga and Motor City Cruise) and NBA Summer League (Detroit Pistons). Lee's team won Greek Supercup in 2026.

In 29 Liga Endesa games, he averaged 12.6ppg, 2.2rpg, and 2.6apg. He had a good season as he was voted League Player of the Week.
