Brooks is back at Sassari

Dinamo BDS Sassari (Serie A) signed experienced 37-year old Italian-American ex-international power forward Jeffrey Brooks (203cm-95kg-1989, college: Penn State) for upcoming 2026-27 season. It is actually his comeback to Sassari as he has played here before. He has played for the last two seasons at Allianz Pallacanestro Trieste in the Serie A. In 10 games he had 4.8ppg, 5.2rpg and 1.2apg last season. He also played 10 games in Basketball Champions League where he recorded 8.2ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.4apg.
Brooks tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2013. He was a member of the Italian Senior National Team between 2018 and 2019.
Brooks has also played professionally in Russia (Avtodor), Spain (Unicaja), and Italy (Armani Milano, Paperdi Caserta, Umana Venezia, and Jesi).
His team made it to the League Semifinals in 2024. It's very possible that he may end his playing career between Sassari.
He graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2011 and this will be his 16th season as a professional player.
