Turk Telekom signs Tim Schneider

Tim Schneider

Turk Telekom Ankara (BSL) signed 28-year old German international power forward Tim Schneider (208cm-108kg-1997) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He played last season with Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots in the Japanese B1 League. In 21 games, he averaged 11.1ppg, 7.1rpg, and 1.0apg. Schneider also had stints with Rizing and Veltex in the B1 League.
Schneider has also been a member of the German international program for some years. He has regularly played for the German senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2017.
Schneider has played previously in Germany between stints with ALBA Berlin, SSV Lok Bernau, ALBA 2, and ALBA 3.
Among many awards, his team won the German Cup in 2022. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-German 2.Bundesliga Pro B Honorable Mention back in 2017.
