Oldenburg lands Le'Tre Darthard, ex Szolnok

Le'Tre Darthard

EWE Baskets Oldenburg (BBL) signed Le'Tre Darthard, a 26-year-old American guard standing at 193cm from Oklahoma, for the upcoming season. He was the leading scorer at NHSZ-Szolnoki Olajbanyasz in the Hungarian A Division, averaging 13.5ppg, 2.3rpg, and 2.0apg in 28 games last season. Darthard contributed to their cup victory and appearance in the league final. He also played 6 games in the Basketball Champions League, posting 13.7ppg, 2.7rpg, 2.2apg, and 1.2spg. In the previous 2024-25 season, he competed for Heroes Den Bosch (DBL) in the Dutch league, participating in three different competitions. In the Dutch DBL, he showcased impressive stats with 16.3ppg, 2.8rpg, 2.7apg, and 1.8spg.
In 2025, Darthard won the Dutch League championship title. He was also voted the Eurobasket.com All-Dutch League Guard of the Year in 2025.
He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2024 and it will be his third season in pro basketball. Darthard played for other colleges such as Utah Valley University and McCook Community College.
