MKK Kumanovo (Super League) strengthened their roster with the addition of 32-year-old ex-international 185cm point guard Boban Stajic for the 2026-27 season. He has played for the last two years at Pelister in the Super League. Stajic managed to play in three leagues last year. In 31 Super League games, he recorded 9.4ppg, 2.9rpg, 5.6apg, and 1.6spg, helping the team reach the semifinals. He also played 5 games in FIBA Europe Cup, averaging 6.0ppg, 4.8apg (top 3), and 1.4spg, as well as 1 game in Basketball Champions League with 11 points, 1 rebound, and 2 assists.
Stajic also represented North Macedonia at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers three years ago. During this event he scored an average of 2 points per game and had rebounds per game.
He has spent his entire career in North Macedonia playing for seven other teams: MZT Skopje, Rabotnicki, Feni Industries, KK Kumanovo 2009, Kozuv, Lirija, and KK Kumanovo 2009.
His team reached the North Macedonian final in 2025.
