Promitheas Patras BC Vikos Cola (GBL) signed 27-year old American forward Joirdon Nicholas (206cm-100kg-1999, college: Texas Southern) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He played last season at M.Ramat Gan in the Israeli Winner League, where he averaged 12.8ppg and 9.4rpg in 16 games.
He is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in Canada (with the Shooting Stars), Mexico (with the Tijuana Zonkeys), the NBA (with the Atlanta Hawks), the NBA G League (with the South Bay Lakers, College Park SkyHawks, and Cleveland Charge), The Basketball Tournament (with Team Challenge ALS), and the NBA Summer League (with the LA Lakers).
Among many awards, his team won the Mexican CIBACOPA Regular Season in 2024. He was also part of the SWAC All-Tournament Team back in 2021.
Nicholas graduated from Texas Southern University in 2023 and is entering his fourth season as a professional player. He has also played for Stephen F. Austin State University and the University of Montana.
