Anthony Gaines agreed terms with Weissenfels

SYNTAINICS MBC Weissenfels (BBL) added 28-year-old American guard Anthony Gaines (college: Siena, agency: One Motive Sports) to their roster for the upcoming season. He played for HAKRO Merlins Crailsheim in the ProA for the last two years. In 37 games, he averaged 13.6ppg, 6.5rpg, 3.4apg, and 1.4spg last season and was voted League Player of the Week.
He has also played professionally in Australia with the Falcons.
Among many awards, he was selected to Eurobasket.com All-German ProA Honorable Mention in 2024.
Gaines graduated from Siena College in 2022, marking his fifth season in pro basketball. He also played for Northwestern University for four years.
