Defending champion JL Bourg en Bresse (Betclic ELITE ProA) has agreed to terms with 25-year-old Canadian forward Tyrese Samuel (208cm-107kg-2000, college: Florida) for the new 2026-27 season. He played last season in Vancouver in the Canadian CEBL. In just 7 games, he had impressive stats: 20.1ppg, 9.1rpg, and 2.7apg. Last season, he played for Raptors 905 in the NBA G League. He is a highly experienced player. Samuel has also played professionally with other USA teams, including the NBA (Phoenix Suns), NBA Summer League (Brooklyn Nets), and NBA G League (Valley Suns).
