Newcomer of Turkish Basketball Super League, Cayirova Belediye Kocaeli (BS) inked experienced 35-year old American 168cm point guard Jordon Crawford (college: BGSU, agency: Slash Sports) for upcoming season. He played most recently at Erokspor. In 31 BSL games in Turkey he recorded 14.5ppg, 1.8rpg and 5.7apg last season. The previous (2025) summer he played at Team Diesel in U.S. semi-pro league The Basketball Tournament. In 2015 (two years after his graduation) he was drafted by Westchester Knicks (D-League) in fifth round (77th overall). The former Bowling Green State University standout is in his 14th (!!!) season in pro basketball. He is a very experienced player. Crawford has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Latin America, Australia and of course North America). He has played professionally in Australia (JackJumpers), Cyprus (Mapfree Life), France (Chalon/Saor), Germany (EnBW Ludwigsburg), Mexico (Aguilas Doradas), Puerto Rico (Piratas), North Macedonia (MZT Skopje), Canada (Rainmen), NBA G League (Cleveland Charge and Memphis Hustle), Turkey (Buyukcekmece and Afyon) and The Basketball Tournament (Money Team). Among many awards he won Turkish TBL championship title in 2025. Crawford was voted to Turkish League All-Star Game back in 2020. He is close to retirement age as a player. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Cayirova.
