AEK Larnaca keeps Hollingsworth for another season

Defending champion Petrolina AEK Larnaca (ECOMMBX BL) re-signed 26-year old American 188cm guard Taveion Hollingsworth (college: WKU) for season 2026-27. He has played there for the last three seasons. He managed to play in three leagues last year. In 32 ECOMMBX BL games, he recorded very impressive stats: 18.3ppg, 7.5rpg, 4.3apg, and 1.9spg. Hollingsworth helped them to win the league title and the Supercup. He was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Cypriot League Import Player of the Year, Eurobasket.com All-Cypriot League Defensive Player of the Year, and Eurobasket.com All-Cypriot League Player of the Year. He also played 6 games in FIBA Europe Cup where he averaged remarkable 19.3ppg, 3.7rpg, 4.2apg, and 1.0spg (in top 4). Finally, he recorded 1 game in Basketball Champions League where he had 6 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals.
