Kolossos land Georgios Kamperidis for the 2026-2027 season

Kolossos H Hotels Rodou (GBL) signed 26-year-old ex-international 195cm shooting guard Georgios Kamperidis, who is represented by Octagon Europe, for the upcoming season. Kamperidis has been playing for Karditsas in the GBL for the past two years. Last season, he averaged 5.5ppg and 2.5rpg in 24 games, helping the team reach the Supercup semifinals. He also played 14 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he averaged 5.0ppg. Kamperidis briefly played for another Greek team, AS Karditsa Iaponiki.
He was also a member of the Greek international program for some years. Kamperidis played for the Greek Senior National Team in 2022 and previously for the Under 18 National Team in 2017.
He has also played in Lithuania (Neptunas), Greece (PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki, Panionios, Doukas, and Mandraikos), and Lithuania.
In 2023, his team reached the League Semifinals.
