Turk Telekom keep Bankston for another season

Kris Bankston

Turk Telekom Ankara (BSL) re-signed 26-year old American 206cm center Kris Bankston (college: Norfolk State) for the new season. He played there last season. In 29 BSL games, he averaged 8.0ppg, 4.6rpg, and 1.2apg. He helped them to make it to the Turkish Cup Semifinals. Bankston also played 22 games in Eurocup where he had 8.2ppg, 4.6rpg, and 1.0apg. He contributed to his team making it to the semifinals. The previous (2024-25) season he played at another Turkish team Tofas.
Bankston has played professionally in Greece (Aris) and Israel (Hapoel Beer Sheva).
He was named to the MEAC All-Tournament Team in 2023.
Bankston graduated from Norfolk State in 2023, marking his fourth season in pro basketball. He also played for the University of Arkansas at Little Rock for four years.
