Scott is back at Winnipeg

Tre Scott

Winnipeg Sea Bears (CEBL) agreed terms with 29-year old American forward Tre Scott (203cm-102kg-1996, college: Cincinnati). It is actually his comeback to Sea Bears as he has played here before. He moved there from Calgary Surge in the CEBL where he started the season. In two games just recently he had 8.0ppg, 7.0rpg and 3.0apg. The last season he played at the Nets in NBA.
He is quite an experienced player. Scott has played professionally in France (Provence Basket), Puerto Rico, and the NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers), as well as in the NBA G League (SLC Stars, Cleveland Charge, Long Island Nets, Greensboro Swarm, and Osceola Magic), the NBA Summer League (Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Orlando Magic), and The Basketball Tournament (Nasty Nati and Team Diesel).
Among many awards, his team made it to the CEBL Semifinals in 2025. He was voted All-AAC Most Improved Player of the Year and All-AAC Defensive Player of the Year back in 2020.
Scott graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2020, and this will be his sixth season as a professional player.
