Bourg inks Lionel Gaudoux

Lionel Gaudoux

Defending champion JL Bourg en Bresse (Betclic ELITE ProA) has agreed terms with 31-year old international power forward Lionel Gaudoux (198cm-1995) for the new 2026-27 season. Gaudoux has played for the last four years at Chalon/Saone in the Betclic ELITE ProA. In 25 games, he had 11.3ppg, 5.0rpg (#4 in the league), 2.4apg, and 1.3spg last season. In 2025-26, he was named to the French League All-Star Game and played 13 games in the Basketball Champions League, where he recorded 10.8ppg, 7.8rpg, 1.9apg, and 1.2spg. He was named League Player of the Week during that season. Gaudoux has been regularly called up to the French Senior National Team since 2025.
He has played previously for six other teams: Saint Quentin, Boulazac Basket, Montbrison, Le Puy ASMB, Pont-de-Cheruy, and Boulazac Basket Dordogne 2nd team.
