Treviso keeps Macura for another season

JP Macura

Nutribullet Treviso Basket (Serie A) has re-signed 31-year-old USA ex-international 196cm swingman JP Macura (college: Xavier) for the upcoming season. He was a team leader there last season. In 11 Serie A games, he averaged an impressive 17.8ppg, 2.6rpg, 2.1apg, and 1.9spg. Macura also played for Promitheas Patras BC Vikos Cola (GBL) in the Greek league, where he played 12 games and had 9.6ppg, 2.3rpg, 1.4apg, and 1.5spg. He helped them reach the Supercup final. Macura briefly played for Nutribullet Treviso Basket as well. He was a member of the USA Senior National Team in 2020.
He is a very experienced player. Macura has played professionally in Greece, Turkey (Afyon), NBA (Cleveland Cavaliers), NBA G League (Cleveland Charge), The Basketball Tournament (Eberlein Drive and Zip Em Up), and NBA Summer League (Charlotte Hornets).
He graduated from Xavier University in 2018 and is entering his ninth season in pro basketball.
