He will still stay in Romania where he played last season at CSM Corona Brasov (Liga Nationala). In 35 Liga Nationala games, he had 13.8ppg, 4.0rpg, and 1.0spg. In the 2025-26 season, he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League All-Domestic Players Team. Maciuca also played 7 games in FIBA Europe Cup, averaging 10.3ppg and 3.3rpg. For the two previous seasons (2023-25), he played at another Romanian team U-Banca Transilvania Cluj Napoca. In 40 Liga Nationala games in the 2024-25 season, he averaged 9.7ppg and 3.0rpg. He has also been a member of the Romanian international program for some years. Maciuca has regularly played for the Romanian senior team since 2018 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2019. He also represented Romania at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 5.4 points per game and had 3.4 rebounds per game. Maciuca has played previously for three other teams: Pitesti, Galati, and Phoenix Galati. Among many awards, his team was the regular season runner-up in the Romanian League in 2025. He was voted to the Romanian League All-Star Game back in 2022.
