Spisski Rytieri Nova Ves (Tipos SBL) re-signed 25-year old international 206cm center Samuel Kincel for the new season. He played there last season. In 40 Tipos SBL games, he averaged 4.7ppg and 3.5rpg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. It was a very successful season in his career as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian 1.Liga Center of the Year, League Player of the Week (2 times), and voted to Eurobasket.com All-Slovakian 1.Liga First Team. Kincel also played for another Slovakian team Slovensky Orol Levoca earlier during that season. The other team he played shortly was another Slovakian team Spisski Rytieri Nova Ves.
He has also been a member of the Slovakian international program for some years. Kincel has regularly played for the Slovakian senior team since 2025 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2019.
He also represented Slovakia at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 0.5 points per game and had 1.5 rebounds per game.
Kincel has played in Czech Republic (Olomouc Bbal), Slovakia (Prievidza, Michalovce, and BC Prievidza 2nd team), and Czech Republic.
His team finished as the runner-up in the regular season of the Slovakian League in 2024.
