Zaporizhye keeps Buts for another season

Anton Buts

BC Zaporizhye-ZOG (Superleague) re-signed experienced 38-year-old 203cm forward Anton Buts, agency: BIG, for the new season. He has played there for the last four seasons, helping them reach the Ukrainian Cup Semifinals.
Buts has spent his entire career in Ukraine playing for six other teams: Polytechnic Kharkiv, Mariupol, Krivbas, Aviastar, SoyuzBasket, and Khmelnytskyi.
Among many awards, Buts' team was the regular season runner-up in the Ukrainian Higher League Group 1 in 2021. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Ukrainian League Honorable Mention back in 2023. It may be one of the last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at Zaporizhye.
