Charleroi welcomes back Heath

Joshua Heath

Val-Dieu Spirou Basket Charleroi (Pro Basketball League) signed 31-year-old American 187cm point guard Joshua Heath (college: Georgia Tech) for the upcoming season. Heath is returning to Spirou Charleroi, where he previously played. He spent the last two years at Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen in the Pro Basketball League, averaging 14.5ppg, 3.0rpg, and 4.5apg in two games last season. In the BNXT League, he played 34 games and averaged 10.8ppg, 2.7rpg, 6.2apg, and 1.1spg.
Heath has also played professionally in Slovenia (Ilirija) and Turkey (Ankara D.S.I.).
He won the BNXT League championship title in 2025, and was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Honorable Mention in 2020.
Heath graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. He played also for University of South Florida for one year.
