Szabo re-signs at Slovan

Milan Szabo

BC Slovan Bratislava (Tipos SBL) confirmed in their roster 27-year old international shooting guard Milan Szabo (190cm-98kg-1998, college: UT Tyler) for season 2026-27. He has played there for the last three seasons. He helped them to make it to the Slovakian League final. Szabo played 9 games in European North Basketball League where he recorded 7.4ppg and 4.2rpg last season.
He has also been a member of the Slovakian international program for some years. Szabo has regularly played for the Slovakian senior team since 2023 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2018.
He also represented Slovakia at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 4.3 points per game and had 2.3 rebounds per game.
Szabo is a very experienced player.
He graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler in 2023 and is in his fourth season as a professional player. Szabo also played for Cochise College for 2 years.
