Majercak re-signs at Slovan

Matej Majercak

BC Slovan Bratislava (Tipos SBL) confirmed in their roster 26-year old international shooting guard Matej Majercak (188cm-1999) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He has played there for the last two seasons, helping them reach the Slovakian League final. Majercak played 7 games in the European North Basketball League, averaging 3.9ppg and 2.6apg last season. For the three previous seasons (2022-25), he played at BK Nova Hut Ostrava (NBL) in the Czech Republic league.
He has also been a member of the Slovakian international program for some years. Majercak has regularly played for the Slovakian senior team since 2020 and previously for the Under 20 National Team during 2019.
He also represented Slovakia at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 1 point per game and had rebounds per game.
Majercak has played previously for three other Slovakia teams: Prievidza, Lucenec, and Spisski Rytieri.
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com Slovakian League All-Domestic Players Team in 2022.
