Petkim lands Ozan Yilmaz

Ozan Yilmaz

Aliaga Petkimspor Izmir (BSL) signed 23-year-old 190cm guard Ozan Yilmaz for the upcoming season. Yilmaz, who previously played for Erokspor in TBL, helped his team secure promotion to BSL. However, he only averaged 1.0ppg and 1.0apg in three games last season. In the 2024-25 season, he played for Pinar Karsiyaka and appeared in 20 BSL games, averaging 3.9ppg, 1.9rpg, and 2.5apg.
He was a member of the Turkish Under 20 National Team in 2021.
Yilmaz has played for three other teams before: Final Spor, Efes, and Lima Spor.
Among many awards, his team made it to the League Semifinals in 2024. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Turkish U19 League Honorable Mention back in 2022.
