Besiktas Fibabanka Istanbul (BSL) re-signed 31-year old Canadian-Irish ex-international 206cm power forward Conor Morgan (college: UBC) for the new season. He has played there for the last two seasons. He helped them to make it to the Supercup final and to the Cup final. Morgan played 20 games in Eurocup where he averaged 8.6ppg, 4.2rpg and 2.3apg last season. He was also a member of the Canadian international program for some years. Morgan played for Canadian Senior National Team between 2017 and 2024 and previously for the University National Team back in 2017. He also represented Canada at the FIBA World Cup 2023 Americas Qualifiers three years ago. His team won Silver and he averaged nearly 7 points per game. Morgan is a very experienced player. He has played professionally in New Zealand, Poland (WKS Slask), Spain (Joventut and MoraBanc Andorra), and the United Kingdom (Lions). Morgan received an award for his performance in the final of the Turkish League in 2025. He was also voted to the Eurobasket.com All-British BBL Honorable Mention in 2024. He graduated from the University of British Columbia in 2018, and this will be his ninth season in pro basketball.
