Cazoo Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz (Liga Endesa) re-signed 28-year old American 196cm guard Kobi Simmons (college: Arizona) for the new season. He played there last season. In 29 Liga Endesa games, he averaged 12.6ppg, 2.2rpg, and 2.6apg. He had a good season as he was voted League Player of the Week. Simmons also played 31 games in Euroleague, where he had 11.1ppg, 1.3rpg, and 3.0apg. The previous (2025) summer, he played at Gigantes (BSN) in the Puerto Rican league.
Simmons is a very experienced player, having played in seven different countries on four continents during his pro basketball career. He has played between China (Golden Bulls), Israel (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Poland (Stal), Puerto Rico, NBA (Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies, and Charlotte Hornets), NBA G League (Cleveland Charge, Raptors 905 Mississauga, and Greensboro Swarm), and NBA Summer League (Charlotte Hornets and Portland Trail Blazers).
Between 2022 and 2025, his team won the Polish Cup. He was selected to Latinbasket.com All-Puerto Rican League Honorable Mention in 2025.
Simmons attended University of Arizona until 2017 and is entering his tenth season in pro basketball.
