Gabrovsek re-signs at Livorno Pielle

Caffe Toscano Pielle Livorno (Serie B Nazionale) confirmed 31-year old Slovenian forward David Gabrovsek (204cm-102kg-1994, college: MBU) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. He played there last season. In 44 Serie B Nazionale games, he had 13.7ppg, 4.8rpg, and 1.2apg, helping them win the cup. For the previous two seasons (2023-25), he played at Donar Groningen (DBL) in the Dutch league. The team competed in three different competitions, and Gabrovsek played 5 games in the Dutch DBL, averaging 9.8ppg and 4.2rpg in the 2024-25 season. He also played 23 games in the BNXT League, averaging 9.9ppg, 4.1rpg, and 1.3apg in the 2024-25 season.
He is a very experienced player. Gabrovsek has played professionally in Greece (Karditsas), Holland, Iceland (Stjarnan), Russia (Novosibirsk), and Slovenia (Ilirija, Sentjur, Rogaska, and Terme Olimia).
He graduated from Missouri Baptist University in 2017 and will be entering his tenth season as a professional player. Gabrovsek also played for Southwest Baptist University for 2 years.
