ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket could add Riley Minix

LDLC ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (Betclic ELITE ProA) is about to agree terms with 25-year old American forward Riley Minix (203cm-104kg-2000, college: Morehead State) for the new 2026-27 season, who played last time with the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA. In 6 games, he had 4.3ppg last season. He also played for another NBA team, Spurs/106">the Spurs. Minix also briefly played for the Spurs in the NBA G League.
Among many awards, his college team won the OVC Tournament in 2024. He was voted the All-OVC Player of the Year and made the OVC All-Tournament Team in 2024.
Minix graduated from Morehead State in 2024 and it will be his third season as a professional player. He played also for Southeastern University for 4 years.
