Tofas sign a second USA player, ex Strasbourg

Gabe Brown

Tofas Bursa (BSL) signed Gabe Brown, a 26-year old American forward from Michigan State, for the upcoming season. He previously played for SIG Strasbourg in the French Betclic ELITE ProA, averaging 13.6ppg and 3.1rpg in 31 games last season. Brown had a successful year, participating in the French League All-Star Game Slam Dunk Contest and the French League All-Star Game. In the 2024-25 season, he played for Sportinvest Trapani Sharks in the Italian Serie A, and also for Openjobmetis Varese in the same league. He will join fellow American player Bryce Jones on the team's roster.
He is a very experienced player. Brown has played professionally in Italy, the NBA G League (Raptors 905 Mississauga), and the NBA Summer League (Phoenix Suns).
His college team won the Big Ten Tournament in 2019.
He graduated from Michigan State in 2022, and this will be his fifth season in pro basketball.
