Wats comes back to Atlantas Paphou

Callum Wats

Atlantas Paphou (Division B1) strengthened their roster with the addition of 22-year-old point guard Callum Wats (195cm-2004) for the 2026-27 season. It is actually his comeback to Paphos as he has played here before. He has played for the last two seasons at TRIA EKA AEL Limassol in the ECOMMBX BL. ECOMMBX BL was a little too high level for him, where in 27 games he recorded just 0.7ppg last season. Division B1 will be definitely a better match and he can see more playing time. He helped them to win the cup and make it to the league semifinals.
Wats has played for APOEL Nicosia before.
In 2020, he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Cypriot U18 League Co-Defensive Player of the Year and Eurobasket.com All-Cypriot U18 League Guard of the Year.
