Saric comes back to Anadolu Efes

Dario Saric

Anadolu Efes Istanbul (BSL) added 32-year-old Croatian international power forward Dario Saric (208cm-102kg-1994) to their roster for the 2026-27 season. This marks his return to Efes, where he previously played. Saric spent last season with the Detroit Pistons in the NBA, as well as with the Bulls and the Kings. In his brief stint with the Kings, he averaged just 1.0ppg and 1.2rpg in 5 games.
In 2014, he was selected by the Orlando Magic (NBA) in the first round (12th overall) of the draft.
Saric has been a member of the Croatian international program for several years. He has played for the Croatian senior team since 2012 and previously for the Under 19 National Team in 2013.
Saric also represented Croatia at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers last year. During this event, he scored an average of 15.5 points per game and had 6.5 rebounds per game.
He has played in Croatia (Zagreb, Cibona, and Zrinjevac), the NBA (Denver Nuggets, GS Warriors, Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers, and OKC Thunder), and Croatia.
Saric has won several awards during his career, including playing in the final of the NBA in 2021. He was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Europeans Power Forward of the Year in 2018.
