IRT Tanger welcomes back Laanani

Omar Laanani

IRT Tanger (DEX-H) signed 38-year-old former Morocco-Senegalese international power forward Omar Laanani. He is the second import player on the team, with Levi Bradley from the USA signing earlier. Laanani is making a comeback to Tanger, having played there before. His most recent team was FUS Rabat in the DEX-H.
Laanani is a very experienced player, having played for clubs in Saudi Arabia (Ohod), Tunisia (AS Hammamet), Libya (Al Nasr), and Morocco (Chabab Rif Al Hoceima and FAR Rabat). He won the Moroccan League championship title in 2024. It is quite likely that he will finish his playing career at IRT Tanger.
