Shahrdari Gorgan (Superleague) landed experienced 34-year old American 201cm forward Jordan Hamilton (college: Texas) for new season. Hamilton played most recently at Austin's Own (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. In 2011 he was drafted by Dallas Mavericks (NBA) in first round (26th overall). The former University of Texas star is in his 15th (!!!) season in pro basketball. He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in fourteen different countries playing on four different continents. Hamilton is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Iraq (Al-Difaa), Israel (Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Holon), Italy (Brescia), Japan (Lakestars, Storks, Volters and Watts), Lebanon (Homentmen), Montenegro (Buducnost), Puerto Rico (Vaqueros), Russia, Taiwan (Fubon Braves), Turkey (Tofas and Usak), Venezuela (Cocodrilos, Guaros and Bucaneros), USA, Dominican Republic (Metros) and The Basketball Tournament (Team Challenge ALS). Hamilton's team made it to the Japanese B League D2 Semifinals in 2022 and 2023. Among many awards he was voted to Asia-Basket.com Japanese B League D2 All-Imports Team in 2024.
