Melilla adds Zohore to their roster

Melilla Ciudad del Deporte (Primera FEB) added experienced 34-year-old Danish-Ivorian international center Jonas Zohore (210cm-120kg-1991) to their roster. He started the season at Tadamon in the Lebanese DLBL, where in only one game he recorded 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists. Last season, he played at Manchester (SLB) in the British league.
He has also been a member of the Danish international program for some years. Zohore has regularly played for the Danish senior team since 2013 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2011.
He is quite an experienced player. Zohore has played in Belgium (Okapi Aalst), Bulgaria (Balkan and Rilski), Cyprus (Etha), Hungary (Kormend and TF Budapest), Indonesia (Rajawali), Italy (Bergamo Bsk and Nardo), Lebanon, Lithuania (Siauliai and Nevezis), Poland (Spojnia), Serbia (KK Dynamic Vip Pay Beograd), Switzerland (Massagno), the United Kingdom, Spain (BAXI Manresa, Alicante, and BT Madrid), and Denmark (Horsens IC and Bakken Bears).
He played in the final of Spanish LEB Gold Copa Princesa de Asturias in 2021. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Swiss LNA Honorable Mention in 2017.
