Copenhagen keeps Ramirez for another season

Basketball Club Copenhagen (BasketLigaen) re-signed 28-year-old Spanish 181cm point guard Andrew Ramirez (college: Hartford) for the 2025-26 season. He has been with the team for the past four seasons. This season was particularly special for him, as he was named Eurobasket.com All-Danish League Bosman Player of the Year and was selected for the All-Bosmans Team. Ramirez also received the honor of League Player of the Week.
He was a member of the Spanish U20 National Team in 2017.
Ramirez has played professionally in Spain (Ponferrada and Tormes) and Spain.
His team reached the Spanish LEB Silver Play-Off Semifinals in 2021.
He graduated from the University of Hartford in 2018 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball. Ramirez played also for Western Nebraska Community College for one year.
