Jukic re-signs at IR Reykjavik

IR Reykjavik (Subway League) confirmed in their roster 32-year old Danish international forward Zarko Jukic (202cm-94kg-1993, agency: BIG) for upcoming 2025-26 season. He is the second foreign player in the roster as Georgian Tsotne Tsartsidze signed here earlier.
He has played there for the last two seasons.
He has been also a member of the Danish international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Danish senior team since 2013 and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2011.
Jukic also represented Denmark at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Pre-Qualifiers this year. During this event he scored an average of 0.5 points per game and had 2.3 rebounds per game.
He is quite experienced player. Jukic has played also in Portugal (Povoa), Spain (Ourense, Cornella and Albacete), Sweden (Norrkoping and Nassjo), United Kingdom (Newcastle Eagles) and Denmark (Horsholm, Naestved and Copenhagen).
He won Icelandic Division I Playoff championship title in 2024.
