Alicante keeps Larsen for another season

HLA Alicante (Primera FEB) re-signed 32-year old Danish international 208cm center Kevin Larsen (college: GWU) for the new season. He was a team leader there last season. In 34 Primera FEB games, he was the league's fourth-best scorer with an impressive 15.3ppg and recorded 6.9rpg (#3 in the league), 3.7apg, and 1.0spg. He can count that season as very successful as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish Primera FEB Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (3 times). For the three previous seasons (2021-24), he played at another Spanish team Movistar Estudiantes Madrid (LEB Gold).
Larsen has also been a member of the Danish international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Danish senior team since 2015 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2012.
Larsen is a very experienced player, having played professionally in France (Lille), Germany (MBC), Spain (Breogan Lugo, Surne Bilbao, and Zunder Palencia), and Denmark (Horsens IC).
In 2021, Larsen won the Spanish League championship title. He also received the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Player of the Year award and the Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LEB Gold Bosman Player of the Year award during the same year.
He graduated from George Washington University in 2016 and it'll be his tenth season in pro basketball.
