Cedi Osman Basketbol Spor Kulubu Istanbul (TBL) agreed terms with 32-year old Bahamas ex-international center Zane Knowles (208cm-116kg-1992, college: TAMUCC, agency: BIG). Knowles played last season at Atomeromu in Hungarian A Division. He managed to play in four leagues in three countries last year (!!!). In 14 A Division games he had 7.6ppg and 6.0rpg. Knowles also spent pre-season at Sigal Prishtina in Kosovan Superliga where in three games he recorded 4.7ppg and 2.7rpg. He also played 1 game in Balkan League where he averaged 3 points and 2 rebounds. Knowles was also tried-out by CSKA Sofia (BBL Division A) in Bulgarian league. The other team he played shortly was Levski in Bulgarian NBL. In 7 games he got 14.9ppg, 9.9rpg and 2.6apg.
In 2017 (three years after his graduation) he was drafted by Wisconsin Herd (G-League) in third round (68th overall).
He graduated from Texas A&M University Corpus Christi in 2014 and it will be his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. He was a member of Bahamas Senior National Team between 2018 and 2022.
Knowles is quite experienced player. He has played in five different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Knowles has played previously professionally in France (Charleville Mezieres and C'Chartres), Greece (PAOK Mateco Thessaloniki), Japan (Tokyo Cinq Reves and Wakayama Trians), Poland (Siarka and Wilki Morskie) and Turkey (Balikesir Buyuksehir Belediyespor). Knowles' team made it to the Bulgarian Cup Finalist in 2022 and 2023 final. He played for other colleges like: Pearl River Community College, Grambling State University.
