Gence BK Ganja (ABL) agreed terms with 30-year old American point guard Jarvis Garrett (182cm-79kg-1995, college: URI). He was the best passer at Anorthosis in Cypriot ECOMMBX BL last season, where in 27 games he had 13.0ppg, 3.3rpg, 7.3apg, and 1.6spg. He helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. In the 2024-25 season, he was named to the Cyprus League All-Star Game and the Cypriot League All-Star Game. Garrett also played 8 games in FIBA Europe Cup, where he recorded 8.5ppg, 3.4rpg, 5.3apg, and 1.1spg. The previous (2023-24) season, he played at BK Barsy Atyrau (National League) in the Kazakhstan league.
He is quite an experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in six different countries. Garrett tasted the life as a pro basketball player in Europe, Asia, and of course North America. He has played professionally in Croatia (Zabok), Greece (Rethymno), Hungary (Jaszbereny KSE), Kazakhstan, and Slovakia (Spisski Rytieri).
Garrett played in the final of the Kazakhstan League in 2024. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com Kazakhstan League All-Imports Team in 2024.
He graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2018 and it'll be his 8th season as a professional player.
