Loon-Plage adds Dawson to their roster

AS Loon Plage Basket (NM1) added 27-year old USA-Jamaican guard Brian Dawson to their roster for the new 2026-27 season. He is the second foreign player on the team, with Jamaican Warren Williams already signed. Dawson played last season at Leitershofen in German ProB, where he put up impressive stats: 16.0ppg, 3.7rpg, 5.6apg, and 1.9spg in 27 games. In the previous 2024-25 season, he played for another German team, ETB Miners Essen, also in ProB.
He has played professionally in Georgia between Tbilisi State University and Sokhumi.
Dawson won several awards during his career, including playing in the final of the RMAC Tournament in 2022. He was also named to the RMAC All-Tournament Team in 2022.
He graduated from Regis in 2022, and this will be his fifth season as a professional player.
