Tim Soares joins Robots

Tim Soares

Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots (B1 League) agreed terms with 29-year old Brazilian-American ex-international center Tim Soares (211cm-107kg-1997, college: Master's) for the new 2026-27 season. He played last season at Capitanes de Arecibo in the Puerto Rican BSN league. In 17 games, he had very impressive stats: 16.1ppg, 7.8rpg, and 2.4apg. Last season, he played for Kings (NBL) in the Australian league. He was a member of the Brazilian Senior National Team between 2021 and 2024.
Soares is a highly experienced player. He has played professionally in five different continents and six different countries. He has played in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and North America. Soares has played for teams in Australia, Israel (Ironi Nes Ziona), Puerto Rico (Criollos and Mets), Turkey (Samsun), Japan (Dolphins and Alphas), and the NBA Summer League (Milwaukee Bucks).
Among many awards, he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Israeli League Honorable Mention back in 2022.
He graduated from Master's University in 2020 and this will be his seventh season as a professional player.
