San Giovanni inks Sara Toffolo

Sara Toffolo

Allianz Geas Sesto San Giovanni (Serie A1) agreed terms with 25-year old ex-international guard Sara Toffolo (184cm-2000) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. She will still stay in Italy where she played last season at Autosped G BCC Derthona Basket Scrivia. In 22 Serie A1 games in Italy, she had 4.2ppg and 3.6rpg. She helped them to make it to the cup final and to the league semifinals. For the three previous seasons (2022-25), she played at another Italian team Dinamo Sassari. Toffolo also played 25 games in Serie A1 where she recorded 6.8ppg, 4.6rpg, and 1.0spg in the 2024-25 year.
Toffolo was a member of the Italian international program for some years. She played for the Italian Senior National Team two years ago and previously for the Under 18 National Team back in 2018.
She has played previously for four other teams: Marghera, San Martino, Moncalieri, and San Martino.
Among many awards, she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Honorable Mention back in 2019.
