IDK Euskotren signs Gedna Capel

Gedna Capel

Euskotren San Sebastian (LF Endesa) signed 24-year old power forward Gedna Capel (185cm-2002) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. She has played for the last two years at AzulMarino in the LF Challenge. In 30 games, she had 9.1ppg, 5.3rpg, 1.3apg, and 1.1spg last season. She helped them win the regular season. In 2025-26, she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Challenge All-Domestic Players Team, League Player of the Week, and Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Challenge Third Team.
Capel has played previously for three other teams: Sant Adria, Al-Qazeres, and Boet Mataro.
Among many awards, she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Spanish LF Challenge Honorable Mention in 2024.
