Chartres tab Ana-Maria Filip

Ana-Maria Filip

Chartres Basket Feminin (LFB) has signed 36-year-old Ana-Maria Filip, a former French-Romanian international center standing at 195cm, for the upcoming season. Filip, who most recently played for Melikgazi Kayseri Basketbol in the Turkish KBSL, averaged 4.7ppg and 4.5rpg in 6 games last season. Prior to that, she spent two seasons (2023-25) with Tango Bourges Basket, where she played 23 games in the French LFB and averaged 4.8ppg and 4.3rpg in the 2024-25 season. Filip's contributions helped her team win the Supercup and reach the league final.
She was also a member of the French international program for some years. Filip played for French Senior National Team between 2010 and 2016 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2009.
She has also played in Poland (Polkowice), Turkey, and France (Tarbes, Villeneuve, Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration, Charleville-Mezieres, and Centre Federal BB Paris). It may be one of the last seasons in her extensive career, which she may end at Chartres.
