Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen (Top Division Women) confirmed in their roster 28-year old ex-international small forward Laure Resimont (185cm-1998) for the new 2026-27 season. She has played there for the last five seasons. She helped them win the League title three times and twice. Resimont played 4 games in Eurocup, where she had 4.0ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.0apg, and 1.0spg last season.
Resimont was a member of the Belgian international program for some years. She played for the Belgian Senior National Team between 2018 and 2024 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2018.
She also represented Belgium at the FIBA Olympic Games in Paris (France) two years ago. Her team got to the Semifinals and she had over 1 point per game.
Resimont has played in France (Tarbes) and Spain (Cadi La Seu) as well.
Among many awards, she was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Honorable Mention back in 2023.
