Mestres re-signs at Ferrol

Gala Mestres

Baxi Ferrol (LF Endesa) confirmed in their roster 31-year old forward Gala Mestres (185cm-1994, college: Mount Royal) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. She has played there for the last three seasons.
She has played on three different continents: Europe, Latin America, and North America. Mestres has played professionally in Paraguay (Felix Perez), Spain (Cadi La Seu, Arxil, Zamora, and Joventut), and Paraguay.
She won the Liga Sudamericana championship title in 2022. She was voted to the Eurobasket.com Spanish LF Endesa All-Domestic Players Team in 2024.
Mestres graduated from Mount Royal University in 2018 and is entering her ninth season as a professional player.
