San Giovanni keeps Cancelli for another season

Adele Cancelli

Allianz Geas Sesto San Giovanni (Serie A1) re-signed 21-year old 191cm guard Adele Cancelli for the upcoming season. She played there last season. In 16 Serie A1 games, she recorded just 2.1ppg and 1.6rpg. She also played 6 games in Eurocup where she averaged only 1.8ppg and 2.2rpg. For the two previous seasons (2023-25), she played at another Italian team Delser LBS Udine (Serie A2).
Cancelli represented Italy at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship in Lithuania three years ago. During this event, she scored an average of 5.7 points per game and had 5.9 rebounds per game.
She has played previously for Albino.
Cancelli's team reached the Serie A2 Bracket 1 Semifinals in 2025. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Italian Serie A2 Honorable Mention in 2024.
