Nyon inks Cesaria Ambrosio

Cesaria Ambrosio

Nyon Basket Feminin (SBL) agreed terms with 30-year old double-passport holder Portuguese swingman Cesaria Ambrosio (183cm-1995, college: Wichita State). She has played for the last three seasons at BCF Elfic Fribourg Basket in the SBL. In 19 games she had 7.4ppg, 8.1rpg, 5.2apg and 1.6spg in 2024-25 year. She helped them to make it to the Supercup final. 2024-25 was a great season as she was voted Eurobasket.com All-Swiss League Domestic Player of the Year, named to Honorable Mention and named to All-Domestic Players Team. Ambrosio also played 6 games in Eurocup where she recorded 4.0ppg, 4.7rpg and 3.0apg in 2024-25 year.
She has played previously for the Swiss team Helios.
Her team won the Swiss Supercup in 2024.
Ambrosio graduated from Wichita State in 2019 and it will be her eighth season as a professional player. She played also for Redlands Community College for one year.
