San Giovanni keeps Kacerik for another season

Allianz Geas Sesto San Giovanni (Serie A1) re-signed 29-year-old international 181cm point guard Martina Kacerik for the new season. She played there last season. In 20 Serie A1 games, she averaged 3.5ppg, 1.7rpg, and 1.6apg. She also played 8 games in Eurocup, where she had just 1.9ppg, 1.9apg, and 1.1spg. For the two previous seasons (2023-25), she played at another Italian team, Magnolia La Molisana Campobasso.
Kacerik has been a member of the Italian international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Italian senior team since 2016 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2016.
Kacerik also represented Italy at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 Qualifying Tournament in San Juan (Puerto Rico) this year. During this event, she scored an average of 2.2 points per game and had 1.4 rebounds per game.
She has played previously for three other teams: Venezia, Torino, and Ragusa.
Her team reached the Italian final in 2020.
