Halle lands Estere Petrus

Estere Petrus

SYNTAINICS MBC Halle (DBBL) signed 19-year-old Latvian swingman Estere Petrus for the upcoming season. She last played for Sanjoanense in the Portuguese Liga Feminina, where she averaged 15.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 2.3apg, and 1.1spg in 22 games. Prior to that, she spent three seasons (2022-25) with SBK Liepaja/LSSS in the Latvian league. Additionally, she played 8 games in the Latvian LSBL during the 2024-25 season, posting 10.9ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.1apg, and 1.1spg. Petrus contributed to her team reaching the Latvian LSBL final after finishing the regular season as the second-best team.
Three years ago, she represented Latvia at the FIBA U18 Women's European Championship in Konya (Turkey). During this event, she averaged 7.1 points per game and grabbed 2.4 rebounds per game.
Petrus has played previously in Latvia (Latvija U16 Riga and BJBS Riga/Juniores-2) and Portugal.
