Athinaikos AS Vurona (A1) agreed terms with experienced 36-year old Lithuanian international swingman
Kamile Nacickaite (180cm-1989, college:
Drexel) for the upcoming 2026-27 season. She played last season at
Kibirkstis in the Lithuanian Moteru Lyga. She managed to play in four leagues last year. In 13 Moteru Lyga games, she had 13.4ppg, 2.5rpg, and 2.9apg. Nacickaite helped them win the League title and the cup. In 2025-26, she was named to Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian League All-Domestic Players Team, League Player of the Week, and Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian League Second Team. She also played 2 games in Euroleague, where she recorded impressive stats: 22.0ppg, 1.5rpg, 3.0apg, and 1.5spg. Nacickaite played 10 games in Eurocup, averaging 15.1ppg, 2.4rpg, 2.
Nacickaite has been a member of the Lithuanian international program for some years. She has regularly played for the Lithuanian senior team since 2010 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2009.
Nacickaite is a highly experienced player, having played professionally in France (Bourges), Italy (Chieti), Poland (Polkowice), Russia (Dynamo Moscow), Spain (Casablanca and Gernika), and Turkey (Fenerbahce, Istanbul Universitesi SK, Adana ASKI Mersin, TED Ankara, and Nesibe). It is very likely that she will finish her playing career at Athinaikos.
Nacickaite graduated from Drexel University in 2012 and this will be her 15th season as a professional player.
