Lily Carmody is a newcomer at Northwestern

Northwestern University added 20-year-old Australian guard Lily Carmody (5'11'') to their roster for the 2026-27 season. She transferred from Boston College, where she played during her freshman year. In 30 games last season, she averaged 12.8ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.1apg, and 1.4spg.
She played at Melbourne Tigers in 2022, Melbourne Boomers during 2022-23, Keilor Thunder in 2024, and then at Butler University for one season. Carmody helped her team make it to the Australian WNBL Semifinals in two consecutive years: 2023 and 2024. Carmody's team ended the regular season as the second-best team in Australian NBL1 South in 2024. She helped her team make it to the Australian NBL1 South Finals that year. Her team played in the Australian NBL1 South Semifinals and WNIT Sweet 16 in 2025.
